Printing on Canvas and Why

Canvas Giclée

The Giclée process enables us to print directly onto museum-quality canvas material, so prints will not separate over time. Canvas prints are delivered with your choice of three mounting options: Canvas Board, Canvas Stretch, or the popular Canvas Gallery Wraps. Protective spray coating is applied to the surface of each print to help prevent scratches and other damage.

Giclée Canvas Stretch

Stretched Canvas mounting is a way to set your work apart from the typical photo print. Your photo can be displayed like a fine art canvas. Your photos are printed directly onto canvas using high quality archival inks. After printing, the canvas print is then stretched and stapled onto a wood stretcher bar frame. The final step is to apply a protective spray to the surface of the print to create a beautifully finished, yet durable piece suitable for framing. The protective spray will allow you to show your print without glass and avoid the reflections caused by glass.

Giclée Canvas Board

Your Photos are printed directly onto canvas using high quality archival inks. The resulting canvas print is then mounted on Gator Foamboard for a beautifully finished print. A protective spray is applied to the surface of the print to help prevent scratches and other damage.
